Team News:

May 16th, 2013:

Hopefully everyone's finals went well or are going well! We hope everyone has a great summer, wherever you spend it! Good luck with any internships or summer classes. As noted previously, there are several social gatherings that are happening over the summer. These include traveling to Nationals at the University of Illinois, our camping trip, as well as spontaneous summer kickball and possibly other social events. Check the Facebook page for more frequent updates.

If any incoming engineers want to visit and see the canoe during SOAR or any other event, feel free to email one of the co-chairs!

The Canoe Team placed 2nd at the 2013 Great Lakes Regional Conference Competition this past month at Trine University with Pyramidion, pictured below. A special thanks to our sponsors this year (shown below on the right). We would first like to give a tremendous thank you to all of you who participated in Concrete Canoe this year. We have had an incredible year with you, memories we won't forget, and we am already looking forward to this upcoming year to have some more fun.

The 2013 team is proud to present Pyramidion

With that said, we would like to extend a large congratulations to the new 2013-2014 co-chairs: Ben Kranner, Eric Hartig, and Nick Molzahn! These guys will do a phenomenal job leading our team to new heights and we can't wait to begin next year under their leadership.
But the year's not over, so to celebrate a terrific year and the years to come, we're organizing a camping trip as discussed in the meeting. What better way to enjoy the summer than canoeing and camping with some of your best friends? Check your emails for a link to sign up and for more information.

We will be updating this website over the summer, and will announce important dates for next year. To all graduating members, thank you for your hard work over the years. To all other members, we hope to have you back in the fall. Have a great summer, and On Wisconsin!
